David is the former Editor-in-Chief of The Weekly of Business Aviation. He began his aviation career in 1972, and became one of the most knowledgeable, balanced, wary, and trusted journalists in the aviation community. He has received a number of honors including a Presidential Citation from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Gill Robb Wilson Award from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical, and the National Business Aviation Association’s Golden Wing award for journalism excellence and Platinum Wing award for lifetime achievement. He received a BA in Journalism from the University of Iowa.
